The D.I.Y. (Desert Island Yo) is a collaboration between Doctor Popular and YoYoEmpire, based on YoYoEmpire’s Notus shape with modifications by Doc Pop. The concept is simple: if you could have only one yo-yo on a deserted island, what would it be? The answer is a wide, floaty shape that excels at fingerspins and adapts to any play style.
Available in a standard POM/aluminum version ($55) and a lighter polycarbonate “DIY Lite” version (56g, $49.50). A Superblack Patreon-exclusive edition was also offered. Multiple colorways across both variants.
