About the Obscura
The Obscura is Dis’s third release and first explicitly competition-oriented throw, again designed by Martin Koprna. Tri-material construction combines a 7075 aluminum body with stainless steel outer rings and flush-inset plastic inner rings. Two inner ring variants were offered: polycarbonate (PC, lighter) and POM (heavier), resulting in a 1g weight difference between versions. Inspired by the Japan Technology Kagerou & Mirage, Empathy Noir, and YYR Liminal Autoscopy.
Koprna competed with the Obscura (POM version) at Czech Nationals Open Division, placing 2nd.
