Dif-Con 1

Folio 1243

History

The Dif-Con 1 was the last yo-yo Frank P. Difeo designed before his unexpected death on March 3, 2024. A multi-stepped H-shaped profile machined using his signature milling approach, the Dif-Con 1 featured deep .045″ pad pockets capable of accepting both standard .555-size Dif Pads and flowable silicone. Ships with silicone Dif-Binder pads.

The Dif-Con 1 represents the final evolution of Frank’s design philosophy — precision milling, adjustable weight architecture, and user-serviceable response — distilled into his most modern profile. The name “Dif-Con” was likely a nod to Frank’s lifelong use of the machining conference format to develop new designs.
