History
The GoldenFly is the Butterfly (concave)-shaped counterpart to the GoldenEye, featuring the same 24-karat gold electroplate finish on the AXL Elite body. Like the GoldenEye, it was sold with a matching gold display stand and came packaged in a presentation case with velvet bag and strings. The GoldenFly was described as “one of the smoothest yo-yos to ever hit the market” in retailer copy.
The GoldenFly is long discontinued; retailer listings explicitly warn that the product will never ship and exists only for historical reference. It shared the same Performance Ring response system as the rest of the Custom Products lineup.
