About the Muse
The Muse was Circle City YoYos’ inaugural release, launched September 1, 2018 — the brand’s first day in business. Founded in Indianapolis, Indiana by a hobbyist known as Bradd, Circle City named the throw after the Greek Muses; each of the three colorways is named for a specific muse and represents someone significant in Bradd’s life. The design philosophy was to blend an old-school organic feel with contemporary competitive geometry, resulting in a smooth 6061 aluminum monometal suited to players across skill levels.
Lifeline Strings partnered with Circle City to offer a Muse bundle pairing the yo-yo with ten Radioactive strings. Community reception was warmly positive, with reviewers praising the throw’s smoothness and approachable feel. Each Muse shipped with a pouch.
