The Bassalope is Sebastian Brock’s signature model, released around 2008–2009. It holds the distinction of being the first CLYW model to use a small bearing paired with a single silicone pad for response — a setup that influenced CLYW’s response system development before the Snow Tires standardization. Undersized at 52.55mm, it occupies a similar bracket to the Bear vs. Man but with a wider catch zone and a distinct feel suited to Brock’s style.
