The Capsuloid is mowl’s first-ever hollow-body release, released in September 2025 and designed in collaboration with Kalon Design Studio. Uniquely, the Capsuloid was designed around its artwork rather than the other way around — the goal was to create a smooth, flat face that could serve as a true circular canvas. The name combines “capsule” and “asteroid,” and the face features intricate DNA-like double helix structures wrapping around abstract molecular forms tied to human emotion and identity. Despite its hollow construction, the Capsuloid is carefully balanced: weight is pushed toward the rim for stability and power, while the hollow caps provide a soft, comfortable feel in hand. It is not positioned as a competition model but as a functional art piece and casual player.
