The MetalBullet is the 2011 upgrade to the Woodbullet, a Duncan yo-yo licensed for Bandai’s Hyper Yo-Yo line. Where the Woodbullet uses a wood fixed axle, the MetalBullet adds a metal ball bearing and friction pad response, significantly extending sleep times and enabling progression to Hyper Levels 1–2 certification tricks. At 46 grams it is slightly heavier than the Woodbullet (43.8g) but lighter than most bearing models. Disassembles for maintenance; oil injection supported.
