The HyperCluster ThunderDrake is the first HyperCluster model to feature a light-up function, released in 2011. Its hexagonal wing-shaped body is a new departure from the round and straight bodies in the lineup — the hex profile provides aggressive catch zones and a bold visual identity. The light-up laser core requires four LR41 button batteries (not included). The MB2 designation indicates the second-generation metal bearing upgrade over the original MB bearing, providing extended spin for high-level string trick practice. At 70.4 grams, the ThunderDrake is heavier than most HyperCluster predecessors, contributing to spin stability.
