The HyperCluster PB Pad Loop MachPhoenix is one of the launch products of Bandai’s HyperCluster modular customization system, released in Japan on April 23, 2011. The HyperCluster system consists of three interchangeable components: Body (determines play style), Core (contains axle and response), and Bearing. The MachPhoenix body is 5g lighter than other HyperCluster bodies and features glow-in-the-dark sidecaps. The PB (Plastic Bearing) and Pad Core configuration delivers strong looping response. The modular architecture recalls the original Hyper Dragon from 1998 but with a simplified, no-tool swap system.
