The Hyper Dragoon Pro is the final release in the original Hyper Yo-Yo lineup, released in Japan in April 2000. Designed as a simplified, tool-free version of the Hyper Dragon, the Dragoon Pro uses a different fastening mechanism that allows it to be taken apart and reconfigured without the Dragon Tool. In its standard configuration it features a transaxle sleeve with a pair of metal spacers. It is compatible with many Hyper Dragon parts, bridging the original Dragon’s high-end modular system with accessible usability. The Hyper Dragoon Pro and Standard together mark the end of Bandai’s first Hyper Yo-Yo generation.
