The Hyper Dragon Fire is a variant of the Hyper Dragon released in Japan in June 1999. Its Frame Caps are made of solid black fiberglass-reinforced plastic without an aluminum frame, making them sturdier than the standard Hyper Dragon’s caps and reducing total weight by approximately 2 grams. The caps depict eight blue fireballs swirling counter-clockwise around the lock mechanism — a visual contrast to the Hyper Dragon Aqua’s tidal-wave motif. Like the standard Dragon, it is fully compatible with the modular Hyper Dragon component system and Dragon Tool.
