The Hyper Dragon Aqua is the string-trick variant of the Hyper Dragon series, released in Japan in June 1999 alongside the Hyper Dragon Fire. Where the Fire uses the standard Dragon body, the Aqua ships with the solid black wing-shaped String Play Type Body, making it the recommended configuration specifically for string tricks. Its fiberglass-reinforced frame caps depict swirling tidal waves and are identical in construction to the Fire’s caps — solid black without an aluminum frame, reducing weight by approximately 2 grams versus the original Dragon. Fully modular and Dragon Tool compatible.
