Anti-PRO I marks the first release in MonkeyfingeR Design’s Anti-PRO series — Ray Smith’s vehicle for unconventional, rule-breaking designs. Each Anti-PRO model is a one-run release: once a colorway or model is done, it’s gone permanently, no restocks. The series format is intentional — designed to get ideas from Ray’s head into physical form without commercial compromise.
Described as “an absolute beast — odd, bold, aggressive” with a play character that “throws like a punch in the chest.” The 2021 release was the birth of the concept, all designs hand-sketched by Ray before being pulled into CAD. The number of Anti-PRO models planned is undisclosed — Ray has said he’s sketched them all, but won’t reveal how many.
