Luftverk’s first magnesium model, released January 2024. Development began in 2021 but was cancelled due to performance issues. The project was revived after Jeffrey gained knowledge from developing the plastic lineup — magnesium’s low-density characteristics behave similarly to plastic, and the techniques learned from the Plastic Fulvia unlocked the path to making it work. The raw version oxidizes quickly, developing blotches that Jeffrey considers a beautiful natural process; a ceramic-coated version is available for those who prefer a stable, protected finish. Despite feeling soft and light in hand like a plastic, the spin power and torque are unmistakably metal.
