About
Activated is a V-shaped bimetal yo-yo from Motion YoYo, featuring a 7068 aluminum body and stainless steel rims. Motion first listed it on its internal timeline as a prototype. Preorders opened on October 5, 2026, in five new colorways, including a matte purple and a gold-rimmed (not brass) blue variant. Motion’s Jeremy Ayers noted that a version of this design was done on Perpetual, the company’s very first yo-yo, of which only two exist.
