About the Gambit
The Gambit was the launch product for 2SickYoYos, founded by Joey Serrano. Released in October 2013 in a limited run of approximately 50 units across five colorways, the Gambit emerged after Serrano shared an early prototype on the YoYoExpert Forums and received strong community support. It was produced in both a standard 6061 aluminum version and a premium 7075 version, each tuned for a different feel: the 6061 is fast, floaty, and agile, while the 7075 is solid and rock-stable. Rim-weighted for stability, the Gambit was designed to handle competition-level play while staying fun as a casual throw. Bearings were supplied by Buddha Bearings. Priced at $90 (6061) and $100 (7075) at launch.
