World YoYo Contest 2025

About the World YoYo Contest 2025

The 2025 World YoYo Contest was held August 7–10 at Centrum Cubex in Prague, Czech Republic — the second time the city hosted the event, following 2014 — drawing over 300 competitors from 43 countries under the organization of IYYF. South Korea’s Mir Kim claimed his third consecutive 1A title, becoming only the second player in history to win three or more 1A World Championships after Hiroyuki Suzuki’s four-peat (2004–2006, 2012). Japan’s Hajime Miura secured his eighth 3A world title — the most in any single division — while Miri Kim took a third consecutive Women’s Freestyle crown and Rei Iwakura earned both the Grand Prix and Entertainment Award in Artistic Performance.
