The 2022 Online World Yo-Yo Contest (OWYYC) provided an essential competitive outlet for the international throwing community while large-scale physical gatherings were still paused. Taking place over the course of the fall, competitors recorded and submitted their 2-minute final freestyle routines to be evaluated by official judges across standard execution, control, and music use criteria.
