About the United Yoyo Contest (UYYC) 2026
The United Yoyo & Kendama Contest (UYYC 26) took place June 6, 2026 at the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis, Missouri, timed to coincide with National YoYo Day. Born from a 2016 merger of the Kansas State and Missouri State (MoYo States) yo-yo championships, UYYC has grown into a multi-discipline state-championship event spanning 1A, X, Sport (12 & Under and 13 & Over), and Over 40 yo-yo divisions alongside kendama freestyle and ladder competitions and a chess side tournament. Thomas Rajan (AL) claimed his second consecutive 1A title, while Mike Marshall (KS) and Brandon Cole (MO) topped the X Division as their respective states’ champions. Event Director Christopher Ananda, who founded MoYo States in 2006 and joined with Blake Freeman’s Kansas State contest in 2016 to form UYYC, continues to run the event.
