About the San Diego Classic Yoyo Contest 2024

The first San Diego Classic Yoyo Contest ran January 27, 2024, at Queen Bee’s Art & Cultural Center in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood, drawing competitors across 1A Pro, 1A Sports, and a multi-style X Division. Justin Dauer topped a deep 1A Pro field, Jace Sanchez won 1A Sports, and Matt Szeto took the X Division. It followed NYYL/IYYF judging standards while operating as an independently run contest.
