Pacific Northwest Regional (PNWR) 2025

About the Pacific Northwest Regional (PNWR) 2025

The Pacific Northwest Regional Yo-Yo Championship 2025 was held on March 29, 2025 at the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon — the first time in the event’s history it left Seattle for a Portland venue. Organized by the National Yo-Yo League (NYYL), the event served as the opening regional qualifier of the season for the National Yo-Yo Contest held in Las Vegas that summer. Hunter Feuerstein won the 1A championship for an unprecedented third consecutive year, besting a field of 16 finalists that included multiple World Championship veterans. Matt Szeto took the X Division title in 2A, Aliyah Tan placed second with a 3A performance, and Royce Pinzon rounded out the 4A field. Sport 1A divisions were contested across four age brackets, and division winners earned NYYL qualification seeds for the national finals.
