About the New York State Yo-Yo Contest 2024

Now in its fifth year, the New York State Yo-Yo Contest returned to Coney Island USA on October 5, 2024, selling out its competitor slots. Chandler Steele topped a 19-player 1A field; Colin Beckford and Ryan Connolly took the Dual X and Aerial X titles respectively; Tey Chang won Amateur. Luke Trautwein, who finished 5th overall, was separately awarded the eligible “NY State Champion” residency title.
