About the Illinois State Yo-Yo Contest 2025

Held again on CHITAG’s main stage, the 2025 contest split into a Saturday trick-ladder/workshop day and Sunday freestyle finals across 1A, Dual Hand, 4A, and 5A divisions. Presented by Duncan Toys, it debuted a first-ever Kendama Expression Session, signaling the organizer’s push to broaden the event beyond yo-yo into the wider skill-toy community.
