RiHara

RiHara is a Chinese premium yo-yo design brand founded circa 2015 by designer Zhang Wenlin, operating under the tagline “Touch the Simplicity.” The brand began under the name 7yoyodesign before rebranding to RiHara after the first arc units shipped — a deliberate repositioning as a premium design house. RiHara operated two lines: the RiHara Major Line for high-end and bimetal throws (ino), and RiHara Light for top-level performance at accessible price points (arc AIR series).

The arc became a sought-after collector piece — particularly early green-logo silver-blasted units from the 7yoyodesign era — and RiHara’s minimalist, curve-driven design philosophy influenced the broader premium Chinese yo-yo scene. A 2017 industry article cited the brand as a design reference, noting that SF Yoyos followed “a RiHara-esque design.” RiHara also collaborated with TopYo on the Black Bird, designed by Zhang Wenlin, bringing the RiHara aesthetic to an accessible $32 price point.

The brand ceased active operations sometime after 2016. The rihara.com domain is now listed for sale and all known products are in discontinued or museum status at Rewind, the brand’s primary Western distributor.
