American Spinners
American Spinners was founded in 1988 by Bill Cress, according to the Smithsonian, and a contemporary article places it in Wayne, New Jersey. It made one-piece wooden yo-yos with exotic finishes, including the Standard and the Pocket Rocket, which the Yo-Yo Museum lists. The YoYo Wiki, citing Lucky Meisenheimer’s guide, says production continued as late as 1999. Its current status is unverified.
