History / About
The Council uses an unusual bimetal approach — both body and rims are aluminum, but different alloys. The 6061 body provides the frame while 7068 aluminum rims (denser and harder than 6061) provide the rim weighting. This gives the Council a lighter, more agile feel than an aluminum+steel bimetal while still benefiting from the rim-weight advantages of bimetal construction. At roughly $105 it sits between the Loadout monometal and the Wraith SS bimetal in the lineup.
