Slappa SS Folio 710

History / About

The Slappa SS is the bimetal evolution of the Slappa, again designed with Jameson Larkins. Taking the exact same geometry as the monometal original, it adds stainless steel rims that transform the already powerful slimline into something with exceptional stability and spin time. The design was inspired by the H-Spin Good & Evil, one of Jake’s childhood favorites — a similarly bold bimetal slimline that influenced how he thought about weight placement in a narrow form factor. The Slappa SS directly led to the Slap Jr: when longtime friend Randy Shreeves visited, tried the Slappa SS, and offhandedly mentioned it would be cool at Bapezilla-size, Jake and Jameson had prototypes within months.
