History / About
The Infiltrate is the signature model of mowl ambassador Eric Tran-Ton, a Chicago-based professional player known for long, intricate combos with an artistic, efficient flow (finalist at both 1A and 3A World Championships). The Infiltrate was designed with Eric’s preference for rounded edges in mind — rather than sharp modern edges, the soft contours allow players to maneuver through intricate string formations with ease and minimize catching the string during long combos. Despite coming in at 67 grams, the weight distribution makes it float through tricks. The first prototype was in 6061 aluminum, but at Eric’s request the material was changed to 7075 to add the stability he needed for long combos. A titanium version (Infiltrate Ti) was released in 2025.
