The Vigilancia was designed to get as close to the Surveillance bimetal feel as possible in a full aluminum monometal model. The original concept behind the Surveillance was a bimetal that was easy to control while retaining bimetal spin power. After several prototypes, mowl achieved impressive spin times for a monometal without sacrificing controllability. Rather than just a cheaper version of the Surveillance, the Vigilancia is described as an evolution — a modern reimagining of what made the original great, now accessible in aluminum.
