Saga Folio 4243

History / About

The Saga is a ball-bearing plastic yo-yo made in Brazil by Vulto and designed by Brazilian yo-yo designer Mario Troise. According to the Yo-Yo Museum, the Saga line was the first professional yo-yo line to come exclusively from South America. It has a fixed gap, a starburst response system and a large C-size bearing. YoYo Wiki compares its shape to the Duncan Freehand 2, with steeper sides and more pointed rims, and places its weight between a Freehand 2 and a YoYoJam Patriot. The Yo-Yo Museum dates its exhibit examples to 2002 (bubble-carded) and summer 2005 (marbled colors); the line was produced in many colors and with many different logo sides. A special marbled edition for Dave’s Skilltoys, limited to 36 pieces with a logo by artist Oke Rosgana, is also documented by the Museum.
