History / About
Genius was developed to convey a soothing feel from the very throw, and is LBS’s second flagship yo-yo. Its face design draws on the first flagship Authentic, sampling an American college T-shirt. It was named Genius so a player picking it up thinks “You’re a genius!”. The Quad Rim lets a 6061 aluminum body be thinner overall and spreads the center of gravity to reduce stress in the throw.
