History / About
The Wwing is the first yo-yo produced by B.W.W., the brand of 2004 and 2010 World 4A champion Tsubasa Onishi, released in 2012. It is a Delrin offstring yo-yo with an O-ring between body and spacer that lets the player adjust the string gap to suit the trick: narrower for tricks such as Open Wing, wider for Engine or Boingy Boingy. The surface has fine grooves for body grinds and the rim has an inner recess for finger grinds. The edge height is set for horizontal tricks, which Onishi favors. Rubber O-ring weight sets were sold separately to adjust weight and distribution.
