History / About
The Agonist is the bimetal version of the Checkmate. Compared with the earlier version the materials changed: the body is A6061, the axle is titanium and the rim is stainless steel. Before machining, a stainless rim is bonded to the aluminum body by a special method, so the seam between rim and body is almost invisible, and the bonded construction makes the rim less likely to come loose after impacts or drops. The weight is concentrated efficiently at the outer edge.
