About the Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest 2023
The 2023 Virginia State YoYo Contest was held March 11, 2023 at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond, organized under the National YoYo League banner. It is billed as the largest yo-yo contest in the Mid-Atlantic region, with over a decade of history. The contest fielded three divisions — a deep 24-competitor 1A field topped by Matthew Poon, an X Division won by John Wolfe, and a 10-competitor Amateur Division won by Liam Klass.
