About the New York State Yo-Yo Contest 2023
The New York State Yo-Yo Contest is the flagship annual event of the New York Yo-Yo Club (NYYYC), held at Coney Island USA’s historic sideshow theater. The 2023 edition drew competitors across 1A, 2A, X-Division, and Amateur divisions, with Nick de Valpine topping the 16-player 1A field. Judging was led by the Scales Collective under head judge Colin Beckford.
