About the Colorado State Yo-Yo Contest 2026
The 2026 Colorado State Yo-Yo Contest was held on August 23, 2026 at The People’s Building in Aurora, Colorado, organized by Todd Rollenhagen of the Mile High YoYo Club under the National Yo-Yo League’s sanctioning umbrella. Nine yo-yo divisions were contested: 1A, 0A, X-Division, Sports 1A (split by age 12-and-under and 13-and-up), Sports X, Advanced Youth 1A, a Legacy division for competitors 40 and older, and Doc Lucky’s Duos. Christian Harper topped the 26-competitor 1A field, while Myles Gregory won the mixed-style X-Division as a 4A entrant over 2A, 3A, and 5A competitors, and Nathan Irwin posted a perfect 70.00 technical score en route to winning 0A. Organizers reported the 2025 edition roughly doubled both attendance and participant counts over 2024, though no exact 2026 attendance figure has been published.
