Mini Panzer (SS-001) is produced under the Sturm Panzer SS sub-brand by former Team YoYoJam member ZhaoYuan Liu (“PHENOM”), marketed as the world’s smallest playable/bind-capable production yoyo — smaller than a 1-yen coin/US penny — inspired by the YoYoJam Mini-Jam. It has gone through several generations: a 2020 original (with a limited “SECRET PROTOTYPE” bonus even smaller than the retail unit), a 2021 packaging/body update, a 2022 second generation with a more H-profile-leaning shape and anti-rust brass coating, and the current 2024 version adding a dual-thin-bearing setup and a new dedicated axle. A gold/silver-plated “SS-001DX Mini-Panzer EDITION” (on the 2020 body) was also released with a light-up display box and necklace chain.
