Ice Cream is a remake of the first prototype created by Cold Metal, recreating one of the early milestones in Russian yoyo history. Originally released as a very limited drop in 2007 (contemporary accounts describe the original run as prototype-stage, with uncertain wider release status), SPUTNIK brought it into a modern form with the approval of the original creators. The original colorways and overall character are preserved, with the shape refined for modern comfort — retaining the dense feel and distinctive sound of late-2000s yoyos while adding a modern response system.
