The Nitro was released in 1999 at $15 USD as part of the same IntelliGap product line as the Typhoon. It featured a modified profile with rim weighting and SuperYo’s patented IntelliGap system, which allowed the string gap to be adjusted by twisting the halves without releasing any small parts. Described as a “long spin Power Band design” with a “lightning fast ball bearing system.”
