The Jewel 99 is a prototype yo-yo recovered from the Lumar factory in Swansea after its permanent closure in 1981. The model was never mass-produced; only a single specimen is known to exist, found in the factory by yo-yo collector YoyoZee (Richie). It appears to have been conceived as a rhinestone or jewel-embellished variant of the Championship 99 format. The Jewel 99 represents the last documented design intent of the Lumar line before the factory closed for good.
