The Immortalis is Kyle Weems’s first commercially sold yo-yo and the founding product of Kyo. A Freehand-inspired machined aluminum butterfly, it shipped in July 2004 — 80 units total, 50 sold through Infinite Illusions in anodized black and red. The hub accepted Duncan Wheels plastic side caps, and the body used standard response pads over a ball bearing axle.
