The Rockefeller is Square Wheels Yoyo Company’s competition-focused model, released in 2013. Where the Royale was positioned as an everyday throw, the Rockefeller was built for serious play, earning praise for its “incredible regenerations” and extended sleep times. At $135 it was a premium offering. Players described it as playing heavier than its 66.4 grams suggest, with solid stability. Multiple colorways were produced including Ice Caps, Borealis, and PNWR/CalStates editions, some with soda-blasted finishes for grinding.
