About
The Mira is Ioiô Fênix’s mid-tier bearing yo-yo, designed by Marcio Alves and announced at the Fig Festival in Valinhos, SP in January 2010. Positioned for mass-market accessibility under R$20 at launch, the Mira targeted Brazil’s school yo-yo campaigns as an affordable entry into bearing-based play. Its A-size concave bearing (dry, without shielding, US-sourced at launch) delivers consistent unresponsive spin. One silicone O-ring on one side provides smooth response; a second ring can be added to increase responsiveness. A “Novo Mira” (New Mira) update was released in subsequent years. Available in semi-translucent colorways.
