The Canon was designed by 2015 5A World Champion Jake Elliott after a year of input from top 3A and 5A players, released February 2016 in collaboration with YoYoFactory and Throwback Skill Toys. Its optimized gap width eases binding on the short strings used in 3A/5A play. The stepped response area and reinforced walls tolerate the repeated impacts inherent in off-string and counterweight styles. Every Canon ships bundled with the UltraWeight — a machined Delrin counterweight sized specifically for 5A play. Available in mint and various splash colorways at $44.99.
