The original Civility was YoYoTricks.com’s first premium metal yo-yo, funded via Kickstarter in January 2013 in collaboration with designer Colin Leland (known for OneDrop and TMBR work). The campaign raised over $23,000 against a $3,500 goal — more than six times its target. Production delays pushed delivery to early 2014. Machined from 6061 aluminum with a bead-blasted finish, the Civility was designed for unresponsive 1A play at an accessible $75 price point for a premium machined throw.
