The Fidalgo is Broke Village’s debut product, released in 2015 by founder Cory Gardner. A fixed-axle yo-yo machined from aluminum to the same precision standards as premium ball-bearing yo-yos, it was designed for traditional fixed-axle play. Its narrow stepped profile and higher walls give it a classic silhouette, while the metal axle sleeve and flowable silicone response allow use with any string type without the string wear typical of wooden fixed-axle designs. The Fidalgo identified and filled a specific gap in the market for high-quality machined fixed-axle throws.
