Overview
The Wingweaver is Damian Puckett’s debut bimetal, released October 14, 2022 alongside the Fusion collaboration with Dressel Designs. Puckett’s fascination with W/wing-shaped yo-yos drove the concept: maximize width without sacrificing stability or spin time.
Available with two ring options — stainless steel for a lighter feel and brass for more pronounced rim weight — the Wingweaver offered buyers a rare choice of weight distribution at the time of purchase. Both versions shared the same aluminum 7068 body geometry; only the ring material differed.
