History
The MAG Turbine is the second Series 3 MAG model, released alongside the Stiletto in 1999. Like the Stiletto, it was the second MAG design to ship with Performance Ring brake pads. The museum notes “This version of the MAG has performance rings. The rings function similar to the brake pads found on Playmaxx Bumble Bee yo-yos.” The Turbine features a turbine-blade-style cutout pattern on the sides and came in a distinctive Purple/Green two-tone colorway.
Like the Stiletto, the Turbine received no black limited edition — only Series 1 and 2 received Special black variants. Retail $49.99–$54.99.
