History
The MAG Cyko is the second Series 1 model in Custom Products’ MAG lineup, released from May 1 to August 31, 1999 (though some sources place Series 1 at 1998; the YoYo Museum records a blue Cyko acquired August 6, 1999). Like the 5-Star, the Cyko uses a tapered gap and G-bearing — no Performance Ring pads. Each MAG Cyko came in a display box with a bag.
A limited black “Cyko Special” edition was released at the end of the colored production run. The serial-numbered black Special sets (Cyko Special + Predator Special) share matching serial numbers; Custom Products allegedly produced 200 units of each Special model, though higher serial numbers have been documented suggesting the run was larger. Retail: $50 standard, $75 for serial-numbered vintage units (via YoYoSam).
